The Gesture Co. respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This notice explains what we collect through this website and why.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we receive the details you enter: your name, company, role, email address, phone number, VAT number, delivery region and anything you tell us about your gifting brief, including any note-card message.

Why we use it

Only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and quotation, fulfil an order you place with us, and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell your information or add you to marketing lists without your permission.

Who else sees it

Our website host and email provider process enquiries on our behalf. When you order, we share recipient names and delivery addresses with our couriers and, where needed, with suppliers who personalise products. Each is used only to deliver your order.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after 24 months. Order records are kept for as long as South African tax law requires.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us through our enquiry form. You may also complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your note-card message is held briefly in your own browser so it can be carried into your enquiry, and is cleared when you send it.
